Your proposed modifications mostly sound good as long as you describe how your new levels are unique. The enemy spawner is already provided as a base asset in the project so if you want to make one that is a more significant modification perhaps consider creating an enemy the player can destroy that uses the enemy spawner script to make other enemies.
